Bust - Measure across the garment, in line with the under-arm seam, and double the figure.

Sydney-based artist Chesca Athas flirts with hyper-realism and injects a playful candour into her drawings, breathing life into the ordinary through her realism works on paper.

With a blend of precision and relevance, she captures the essence of everyday objects and commercial tableau influenced by pop culture and contemporary trends. Chesca invites the viewers into her world to rediscover the beauty in the commonplace.

After starting her BFA at COFA, Chesca has gone on to fashion her own artistic style in coloured pencil drawing, showcasing her work both online and more recently a solo exhibition in Sydney. She continues to establish a new direction for her work outside of traditional art historical methods.
