Studio A
Fall ‘25 Artist Collab
Studio A is a vibrant and progressive supported studio located in Sydney. Their mission is to break down barriers and empower artists with intellectual disability by providing access to education, professional development and opportunities to thrive as renowned visual artists. They create pathways for talented artists to achieve their artistic and economic aspirations, fostering a more inclusive and diverse arts culture.
Daniel Kim paints in the tradition of the Old Masters, transforming three-dimensional scenes into two-dimensional works with a meditative focus, often completing a painting in a single day. Though Daniel struggles with mainstream communication, his mother Joy notes,‘Daniel is happy when he paints because he can speak through painting’.
Greg Sindel is a prolific graphic novelist known for his unique takes on classic stories, often set in Sydney suburbs. His work features vivid colours, expressive text, and memorable characterisations, bringing out the inner hero or villain in each sitter.
As Greg says, ‘We artists that attend Studio A all have one thing in common, we love to share our ideas and our art with the world’.
