RETURNS POLICY
If you change your mind for any reason within 21 days of receiving your order, we offer returns subject to the below conditions. Please note that all returns must be in original condition, unused and undamaged, with the original tags attached. Also see our FAQ page
FULL PRICED ITEMS
Items that have been purchased at full price or on pre-order are eligible for a full refund, less the return shipping fee and any original shipping fees.
SALE ITEMS
Items that have been purchased during a sale event or with a discount are eligible for a store credit or exchange of the same item only. Please note that the store credit value will match the amount paid at the time of purchase, less the return shipping fee and any original shipping fees.
FINAL SALE
Any products marked as Final Sale or Last Chance have a strict no returns, exchanges, or refunds policy unless the item is deemed faulty.
ARCHIVE SALE
Any product purchased from the ALEMAIS Archive Sale has a strict no returns, exchanges, or refunds policy.
JEWELLERY
Due to hygiene reasons earrings are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Bracelets, necklaces, and rings may be returned.
SWIM
Swim products can be returned. The garment must be in unworn condition and include the original hygiene sticker and tags.
INSTANT EXCHANGES
For full priced and sale items (excluding FINAL SALE items) we offer easy size and product exchanges within 21 days from delivery. Submit your online exchange through the Returns Portal and follow the steps to select a new size or a different item.
In order to submit your instant exchange, you will be required to enter your credit card details. A temporary hold will be put on your credit card for the full value of the exchange item. You will only be charged if your return is not received within 14 days of submitting.
Once you submit your instant exchange, your order will be dispatched within the next 24 business hours. You will not have to wait for your return to be received back and processed for the exchange to be dispatched.
RETURN COST
Australia: $10 return shipping label fee. Exchanges & Store Credits receive a label free of charge, unless item is marked as sale.
International: $20/€20/£20 return shipping label fee.
RETURN ADDRESS
Please note our returns address is different from our dispatch address. Our return address will be provided with return instructions in your return confirmation email. Returns cannot be mailed without lodging a return and receiving an RMA# number.
FINE PRINT
> Items must be returned to us within twenty-one (21) days of delivery.
> Returns will only be accepted where the return is lodged in our return portal.
> Please allow up to 5 business days for your return to be processed once received.
> Items must be in original condition and must not have been worn, altered, or washed.
> The item must have the tag attached. If the security tag has been removed, the garment can no longer be returned.
> We do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned, other than for faulty items.
> Returns are only accepted with proof of purchase.
> Any returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted and may be sent back at the customer's expense.
> We do not refund international prepaid tax and duties paid at the time of checkout should you wish to return an item.
> Please note that all exchanges must be processed as an instant exchange.
DUTIES & TAXES (DDP SHIPPING)
Any duties and taxes we pay to clear your delivery are non-refundable, where you return your item. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau or by hiring a customs broker.
FAULTY & INCORRECT ITEMS
If you purchased an item from alemais.com and it arrives with a defect, please submit this via our Returns Portal. You will be prompted to include a photo showing the fault. If your item is deemed faulty or incorrect, we will provide a return shipping label free of charge.
If you have received a faulty item from an authorised stockist, please contact the stockist directly for assistance.
Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
