It’s hard to believe that 2025 is coming to an end. When we gathered to celebrate the year with our extended Alémais community, it was clear this had been a time of creative abundance. Collaborators, inspiring figures, brand friends, and our own team came together to share in the generous, artistic spirit that connects Alémais across the world.
Corner 75 set the scene for an intimate and joyful evening — authentic and welcoming. Guests arrived to the sound of live music drifting from the balcony, easing everyone into the warmth of the space. Inside, the dining room was transformed for the night by the Alémais creative team in collaboration with Stories We Gather. Banners handwritten by artist Sammy, layered lace, candlelight, and personal notes created an atmosphere that felt both considered and deeply human.
Lesleigh Jermanus shared a heartfelt speech, reflecting on a year of growth, collaboration, and deeper connection. The evening reached its most memorable moment when guests, guided by the Welcome Choir, joined together in song. What began tentatively soon became a room filled with voices — spontaneous, joyful, and unguarded — a shared experience that lingered long after the final note.
I WANT TO DANCE WITH SOMEBODY.
Glistening sunlight scattered between the palms, our most lustrous star is awakening. In anticipation for the dawn we pack light and lay listlessly. Our minds are adrift somewhere warm, swept away like sand under the rolling tide. Soon the imaginative visual patchwork of dreams takes effect; the ripe colours of summer seeping through our eyelids and flooding our senses: a citrus burst of lemon, lime and guava…the floral essences of wild primrose, lilac and fuschia.
