ALEMAIS is the creative expression of Australian designer Lesleigh Jermanus. A Graduate in Fine Arts, Lesleigh has been designing and collaborating within the industry for over 20 years.

ALEMAIS is a brand with purpose. It is a brand of integrity. A brand striving for transparent and sustainable practices within a changing industry. It is about creating and curating a collection that supports artisanal communities, that reduces environmental impact and treats its suppliers with honesty and respect.

We recognise that our wonderful planet needs a helping hand and with your support we plant a tree with every garment sold. Trees are one of the best tools we have in removing carbon pollution from our atmosphere.

We believe in building a brand that champions environmental and economic development through meaningful relationships that foster and empower artisans and suppliers. Through this approach we aim to build long lasting associations.

We are concerned about the future of our world, which is why we embrace ethical partnerships, support businesses that empower women, and prioritise fair treatment of workers and artisans. Wherever possible we choose natural, durable and organic fibres such as Hemp, Ramie, Cotton and Linen. Our focus will always be on quality over quantity.
